Sunday Quickie Contest: What The Heck Does *This* Mean?

I feel a new identity coming on…I feel it! ~H.M. Murdock, “The A-Team”

What's that? P&Q is having another contest?

Okay, P&Q Rangers, I’m in the mood for a little fun after the storms of the past few days. Because my own personal Super Bowl picks have gone down in flames already (although you still have a chance to make yours and win a prize), I need some levity and laughter to get me through the rest of this holiday weekend. That’s where you come in.

Today’s contest is really, really simple. I need an explanation as to what this sentence means; it was part of a string of spam on my Dashboard. The most creative explanation will win a special prize from yours truly or, if he should be available, Capt. H.M. Murdock (the site mascot) himself. You ready? Here it is:

“…as a result of it could ceaselessly be pleasurable to determine a heat and pleasant face or maybe pay attention a voice while preliminary landing.”

Dunno about you, my fellow Rangers, but I can’t make heads or tails of that gobbledygook. If you can, you might win a swell prize. Get your entries in by this Wednesday (January 18) to wikusandmurdock@yahoo.com or simply post a comment. Oh, and enjoy the rest of your weekend. (It’s a holiday weekend for those of you in the US!)

Did someone say "holiday weekend?"

  1. I dunno maybe it’s letting you know that you have to stick with Face for pleasure and comfort in a plane crash 😄

  2. This was a very nice post. I enjoyed reading your blog today very much.

  3. Heh,heh, heh, wow! I don’t think that sentence would make sense in any language – sounds interestin’ though! Maybe it is a ‘homage’ to the writing style of James Joyce’s epic (and unfathomable cyclical novel) Finnegan’s Wake. Thanks for another eclectic post Heather!
