One Giant Leap for Mankind

Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. And if you do, take pictures. ~from “Quantum Leap”

A show about quantum physics and loud polyester clothes

Today is a unique day for a couple of different reasons. It’s the rare Leap Day which usually occurs once every 4 years. If you are born on this day, you may just be 4 times younger than your actual age. We have the Romans and the Julian Reforms to thank for that quirky part of our modern calendar.

It’s also my day to interview for a long-awaited promotion at work. Because it’s on such a unique day, I have a good feeling about it. Wish me luck, Rangers!

Enjoy Feb. 29! Anybody born/married on this day? Any special traditions I need to know about? Let’s hear it!

Don’t forget to vote in the “33 Films, 33 Years” project before this coming Sunday for a chance to win a cool prize.
