Happy Halloween from P&Q!

I don’t see how a pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one. ~from “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!”

It’s another year, and another Halloween, which happens to be our favorite holiday here at P&Q. Isn’t that right, Mr. Murdock?

It’s a time to scare the crap out of your friends,

a time to be scared yourself,

It’s the best excuse to watch scary movies (or not-so-scary, depending on your tolerance level),

and to reminisce on Halloweens past,

Ghost stories are awesome on Halloween,

But you know who to call when the real ghosts show up, right?

Just remember, this is first and foremost a kids’ holiday.

So stop trying to make it something it’s not, ie, another excuse to dress like a tramp, OK?

Eat as much candy as you like, because,

there will be plenty of leftovers tomorrow (you know, when the Christmas decorations go up.)

Have a safe and happy Halloween!

To my readers in the path of Hurricane Sandy: I am praying for and thinking of all of you. If there’s anything, however small, I can do to help, I’m happy to.

  1. Such a great post Heather! Love the Jehovah Witness Meme! Hilarious!
    Happy Halloween to you!

  2. Happy Halloween!!!!!

I am taking the slightly goofy route for Halloween this year.

  3. Slutty… Bert and Ernie costumes? Why… why is this a thing? Who thought of Sesame Street and then thought “that show would be better with 90 percent more clevage?”

Also, +1 Evil Dead picture! Friggin’ demon hands. Can’t trust them at all.
