My Readers are the Best!
Last week, I invited my readers to share a Best Of post from their own blogs. They did not disappoint! I’m happy to share the following posts by some of my favorite blogging cohorts. Be sure and check them out (and add them to your subscriptions!) They are awesome and I am honored and humbled to count them among my readers.
Hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Mine, well, was a bit of a fiasco. I’ll be resting and consuming Jack Daniels American Honey this weekend to recover, and with any luck, P&Q will be back on schedule next week.
And now, the links!
Christine Noble of Hand of Ananke is always thoughtful and provocative, and hers is a blog that always makes me stop and think. In The Colorado Shootings and the 2nd Amendment, she examines the Aurora theatre shootings from a fresh and desperately needed perspective. With all the vitriol these days, this is an angle we need as a country.
Another of my favorites is Susie Lindau, who never fails to disappoint when it comes to humor and wit. She also recently celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary. Letting You In On Ten Little Secrets is Susie’s how-to post for a long, happy marriage. Check it out, whether you’re in a relationship or not.
Words from the Heretic is a must if you’re into pop culture, like me. I hope you’ll become a devoted reader like I have. The Heretic was also kind enough to nominate me with some other cool blogs for the Blog of the Year 2012 Award. If there’s one thing I love about awards, it’s the opportunity to read some new blogs along with old favorites.
Thank you so much to all my readers! I’m so grateful for your ongoing support and readership. I’ve been scarce as of late but I hope to make 2013 bigger and better than ever, both as a reader and a writer. New things are coming, including another amazing contest!
What have you been up to Thanksgiving weekend? Are you boycotting Black Friday (as I am?)
Thanks so much for the sweet words Heather! You made my day. You are one of my favorites too! Your posts always make me smile!
I totally boycotted Black Friday and even came up with a boycott graphic for one of my blog posts. I am afraid that Thanksgiving will vanish as a family day and become the biggest shopping day of the year…
Thank you for the mention! I always look forward to reading your posts and the many others that I have come to enjoy during my time of blogging.
I stayed indoors the entire time reading the Pirates book series by Gideon Defoe. I am almost done with the second book, have three more to go. An awesomely funny series.
