Happy Birthday, Sharlto Copley

Okay, let’s cut some cake! ~from District 9

Today, P&Q wishes a very happy 39th birthday to Sharlto Copley, best known around here as the “other” Murdock in 2010’s film version of The A-Team and the Afrikaner equivalent of Inspector Clouseau from District 9While I was kind of wondering what Sharlto was up to these days, it turns out he has a whole slew of cool stuff up and coming, including, among others, Elysium with Matt Damon and Disney’s Maleficent with Angelina Jolie.

In the meantime, of course, I wish Sharlto a very happy birthday, the chance to enjoy the last year of his 30s, and, of course, an open invitation to attend a fan convention in my area. Because I have to get a Murdock photo signed by both actors before I die. It’s sort of on my bucket list.

So, as they say in South Africa,

Gelukkige Verjaarsdag vir
die sexyste Suid-Afrikaanse ooit!

Here’s a little something to help tide everyone over until all these movies come out next year. Let’s cut some cake!
